Damon Bryan, LMFT
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS), and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor with extensive experience supporting individuals, couples, and families. My work is grounded in a systemic, neurodiversity-affirming approach that values each person’s unique strengths, challenges, and ways of experiencing the world.
I bring advanced specialization in autism across the lifespan—supporting autistic adults, teens, children, and the parents and partners who walk alongside them. My training as an ASDCS allows me to offer informed, effective care around sensory needs, communication differences, executive functioning, burnout, masking, and relationship dynamics within neurodivergent families.
In addition to my clinical credentials, I am trained in several evidence-based modalities, including:
- DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness
- EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for trauma and stuck emotional patterns
- ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) for rapid trauma reduction and somatic integration
- Gottman Method Couples Therapy for strengthening communication, connection, and conflict management
These approaches allow me to tailor therapy to each client’s needs—whether they benefit from structured skills, trauma processing, relationship work, or a strengths-focused neurodiversity lens.
As an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, I also provide guidance and mentoring for developing therapists. I’m passionate about supporting new clinicians in growing their confidence, competence, and clarity as they enter the field.
I love to spend time with my wife, daughter, and son. I am a runner who will run “everything from a 5K to a 50K.” I also enjoy skiing and snowboarding in the winter, mountain biking in the summer, and being outdoors all year round.
